I recently commissioned my friends at Livery Production Gruppe (LDG) to help with my brand identity. As I look forward to progressing my own personal brand and business this new visual identity represents that growth along with own personal aesthetics. I wanted to create a new logo that could be used for multiple purposes from a simple signature icon to a watermark for my photography to create a strong brand presence in an ever-changing industry. Additionally, LPG designed my new business card and custom Incipio iPhone 4/4S case along with Alpinestars that will be given out during the SEMA tradeshow to a few close industry friends, sponsors and media members as a thank you.

LPG’s inspiration behind the JP monogram are the aesthetics of script writing conveyed in an uniformed, geometrical manner. The specific, almost symmetrical appearance of the JP pair is supported by rhythmic repetition of a equally-spaced same-width strokes. The edgy, dynamic composition is contained in an otherwise stable and compact silhouette, thus achieving easy recognition and readability for the viewer.
